hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy uses Hypnosis to induce a deep state of relaxation, during which the subconscious mind is highly receptive to new perspectives and ideas.
The reason Hypnosis is so effective lies in the immense power of the subconscious mind, which is our biggest internal protector, guide and ally. The subconscious mind takes care of all our automatic responses, such as the regulation of our breathing, blood circulation and tissue repair, all without us having to consciously think about it. It also stores all our learned responses, i.e. walking, reading, riding a bike, to name a few, and again all of these we do without consciously having to think about it.
In addition to this, it stores over 400,000,000 pieces of information relating to our beliefs, attitudes, behaviors, habits, memories, etc that we pick up throughout our lives and possibly prior to birth. Some of these pieces of information however, may not be conducive to our personal or professional growth and may hamper our ability to be comfortable with ourselves – for example fear of flying, anger management issues, low self esteem, or habits like smoking, nail biting etc. Therefore the best way to modify some of these responses, habits or behaviors, is to access the subconscious mind and re-program it.
This process of re-programming is called Clinical Hypnotherapy, a safe and empowering process that literally transforms lives, permanently. Hypnotherapy can assist you in making those changes in your own life that you are ready and willing to work on. If you are ready for change, Hypnotherapy can be the lever to pry yourself out of an old rut. Hypnotherapy will be your fulcrum or point of change through which you will gain more leverage in your life.
Clinical Hypnotherapy has been officially recognized & approved by both American Medical Association (1958) & British Medical Association (1957).

Frequently Asked Questions:
What does it feel like to be hypnotized?
The experience is different for different people. For most people, however, hypnosis is a pleasant state of deep inner calm and physical relaxation. Deep hypnosis is similar in many ways to the kind of profound trance found in expert yoga or meditation practitioners. Most people find Hypnotherapy a really relaxing experience.
. Hypnotherapy is a completely safe, harmless and very effective form of therapy.
. Hypnosis is a state of altered awareness, not sleep or unconsciousness.
. You are in full control of your body and mind during hypnosis.
Can a person be hypnotized against their will?
No one can be hypnotized against his or her will. Entering Hypnotherapy takes place in a consensual state. The therapist assists and guides the subject, who then enters the hypnotic state. No one can make you do ANYTHING you do not want to do. You are not under the therapist’s control; you are under your own control. You can come out of a hypnotic state any time you like.
Who can be hypnotized?
Anyone with willingness to overcome their issue and ability to concentrate can be hypnotized.
There are definitely some people more difficult to induce Hypnotherapy in than others are, but this does not mean they are less capable of being hypnotized. It merely indicates their resistance for one of many possible reasons, (e.g., fear of losing control, fear of change, etc.) Once the nature of the resistance is identified and resolved, the person is able to experience Hypnotherapy satisfactorily.
Is hypnotherapy like magic? Do you go into a trance and the Hypnotist tells all your problems to go away?
No. Unfortunately it’s not that simple. Hypnotherapy helps you to learn to overcome problems but requires you to go in to partnership with the Hypnotherapist to solve problems. Remember, no one can make you do things against your will. You are in complete control and that is the way it should be.
